Choose a lightweight, fluid fabric like crepe or satin for the most swing. Linen and cotton work too, with a crisper flare.

Lining: None, the skirt is unlined, with a neat waist facing.

For 140 cm (55") wide fabric:

• Sizes 32–40: 1 m (1.1 yd)
• Sizes 42–52: 1.15 m (1.3 yd)

Without a motif to match, you can save fabric by turning some pieces; the booklet shows how.
